Eye pillows, bolsters, and supportive blocks are just a few ways we will guide students into a deep relaxed state. Gentle poses are held for long periods with the assistance of props. This class focuses on breath work (pranayama) and quieting the mind and body. This class is appropriate for all levels including pregnant women, those nursing injuries, or anyone looking to become more grounded.
An introductory class that focuses on creating a basic foundation for your yoga practice. Fundamentals of breath work (pranayama) and principles of alignment of poses (asanas) will be explored in a safe, comforting, non-competitive environment. Props will be used to assist the practice. Class will end with relaxing and supportive restorative poses guaranteed to leave you more relaxed and grounded that before class. Appropriate for all levels.
This class connects movement through the poses using the breath. A gentle class that will pay attention to all parts of the body, with standing poses, seated poses, and ending with a comforting restorative practice. Modifications and use of props make this class appropriate for all levels.
Hot Baptiste Inspired Yoga
This class is a fast pace class that emphasizes the transition from poses using the breath. Emphasis is made on the breath, alignment, and the transition in and out of poses. Vinyasa offers lots of diversity and is sure to please all yogis. This class is challenging, fun, and guaranteed to enhance flexibility, endurance, and improve muscle strength. Appropriate for experienced students.
